Lou Diamond Phillips

Lou Diamond Phillips is a renowned American actor and director known for his impactful contributions to film, television, and theatre. He gained initial fame with his portrayal of Ritchie Valens in the 1987 biographical film La Bamba. Phillips was nominated for a Golden Globe and won an Independent Spirit Award for his role in Stand and Deliver (1988). His filmography includes notable titles such as Young Guns (1988), Young Guns II (1990), Courage Under Fire (1996), and The 33 (2015).

On television, Phillips is recognized for his role as Henry Standing Bear in Longmire and as Lieutenant Gil Arroyo in Prodigal Son. In 2024 he played Dr. Aranda in the new action-horror film, Werewolves, directed by Steven C. Miller, and voiced Daniel Livingstone in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
